Hollywood.com has a list of books to read before Hollywood gets their talons in them. A couple I suggest include Cormac McCarthy's The Road and Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.

Good post! I've tried to read Kavalier and Klay, but I can't finish it! I know it's a Pul. P. and all, but I get really bored with it. Has anyone finished it and can give me a good reason why I should?
Also, what happened to Blink, by Malcolm Gladwell? I heard they were doing a movie with Leo Dicap. - at least that's what the wiki says.
