True Crimes and Old Comic Books
The New Yorker has the unfortunate tale of Homer Marciniak. In July, two thieves broke into the 77-year-old man's home, beat him, tied him up, and made off with his comic book collection, worth tens of thousands of dollars. Worse - he died of a heart attack after giving his statement to the police.
