The Picture Book That Killed the Rainforest
Well, there's a new depressing study out, Salon reports. According to the study released by the Rainforest Action Network (RAN), a hefty percentage of children's books sold in the United States are made out of paper that includes "fiber linked to the clearing and conversion of Indonesia's rainforests." Nice.

OK, I guess we should all be reading ebooks now?
I wanted to share my list of Favorite Picture Books You’ve Never Heard of at http://www.pragmaticmom.com/?page_id=1919 Not many of these are ebooks yet, though! I guess go to the library or borrow from friend to save the Rain Forest!
