Actress Amy Adams wants to bring Steve Martin's novel to the big screen.

Well, here's something pleasant: Amy Adams has set her sights on a movie adaptation of Steve Martin's recent novel An Object of Beauty, which she'll produce with Maven Pictures and star in. Adams will play the lead character, an ambitious art doyenne who rises from assistant to gallery owner over a decade and a half, bedding a great many artists along the way.
