Variety is reporting that Matt Damon is to star in an adaptation of We Bought a Zoo.

Matt Damon is set and Angus MacFadyen is in talks to co-star in helmer Cameron Crowe's "We Bought a Zoo" for 20th Century Fox.
Damon has signed on for the lead role in the pic about a struggling single father who moves his family to an estate that turns out to be a zoo. MacFadyen is to play the zookeeper.
